Gad A Bouts Update - December
The Gads are alive and thriving! Since we have resumed monthly meetings after a summer hiatus, attendance has averaged twenty – and yet we still hear so many say “we forgot.” Please go through your ’09 calendars and mark the first Wed. of each month, 10:30 a.m. for Gads meeting. The occasional times we do not meet will be noted in this Update.
At our meeting in November, the month our country honors war veterans, Nell Rys, our co-leader, asked the veterans to share their experiences. We listened with great interest.
The Gads are again adopting a Christmas child through Community Ministry of Montgomery County. Our child is Alexis, a 3 year old girl. Betty Paculba chairs the committee who will do the shopping, wrapping and delivery. In the past, several friends and church members have contributed also, and we have been very appreciative.
