Outreach Ministry Update - December
Thanks to all of you for your generous gifts of clothing, and thanks to David Jordan for delivering it all to the Shepherd’s Table. His van was stuffed!
In November we are working with Harmony Hills School’s Linkage to Learning to furnish Thanksgiving food baskets to families who need some help. We’re hoping a good number of people will bring in boxes
containing the food items on the list. We will use any cash given to buy gift cards from Super Fresh so that families can purchase their meat and other perishables.
With the start of Advent, the beautiful Christmas tree will be at the front of the church each Sunday, waiting for us to place gifts for children beneath its branches. More children than in previous years
will be needing our help, and this is a great way for the children (and adults) of our church to share.
